Japan Booed

The Japanese were booed off the pitch after slumping to a 3-0 defeat to Serbia during their World Cup warm up match, played in Osaka, Japan. Serbia’s Dragan Mrdja scored two goals. The Serbs looked more up for the game as compared to their Japanese counterparts. Japan captain Yuji Nakazawa told Reuters:

Roma move into 2nd place after a 2-1 victory at home to leaders Inter Milan. Claudio Ranieri’s team reduced Inter’s top-of-the-table advantage to only a point, thanks to Luca Toni’s winner. The club has now moved above AC Milan to grab the 2nd spot in the Italian league table.
